𝗔𝘀𝗸 𝗚𝗼𝗱. Like, for real. He actually has an answer for you. “𝘐𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘱𝘴” (Proverbs 16:9). There have been many times when I felt good about something and started moving toward it, only to have a simple “no” drop into my spirit mid-prayer… A God-thought that interrupted my own plans.
𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 “𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁” 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲. A mentor once told me: “Operate on a green light policy.” If it aligns with Scripture, move toward it—but stay sensitive. If you sense caution or a red light, don’t barrel through. Yield to the Holy Spirit. God sees the beginning from the end, and we can trust Him to lead us wisely, even when it doesn’t make sense.
𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁. As basic as it sounds, every yes is also a no. When you say yes to something, you’re saying no to something else. So weigh your options with prayer and wisdom.
𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆. Ask: What needs to stay? What needs to go? Regular rhythms of pruning create space for clarity and keep you aligned with your God assignments.
𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 “𝘆𝗲𝘀” 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 “𝗻𝗼” 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻. That “best yes” changes over time, and it’s worth reviewing often. Once you know it, protect it.
𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱. Scripture is the primary way we recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit. The more time you spend in it, the more clearly you’ll hear His whisper when decisions arise.

Still processing Jesse’s graduation… it was such a special day.
Being new to homeschooling, I genuinely asked God how to make his graduation a true milestone in his life. As I sat with the Lord, here’s what we came up with together:
✨I asked one of our elders, Don Keating, to give him a prophetic word.
✨ I invited his grandparents to speak over him and pass on a generational blessing
✨Then his dad and I spoke blessing, prayed over him, and anointed him for the next season.
✨After that, he put on his cap and gown, we turned on Pomp and Circumstance, and he walked through a tunnel of friends and family cheering him on—receiving his diploma from Paul and me at the end.
✨The awards given by my brother “Uncle Parker” were the BEST last minute addition to kick the ceremony off!
It was SO much fun, and we are so deeply proud of our young man—grateful for who he is, and excited for all that’s ahead.
P.S. Jirah was Jesse’s song request ♥️

This is our niece Maddie, blessing the threshold of our new home as she sings, “Holy, Holy, are You Lord God Almighty!”
We’re still processing the miracle of this house—and the beautiful reality that this is the first song sung within its walls.
When Parker and Jessi prayed over us in early April, it was what I can only describe as a moment of holy convergence—a moment of divine providence. We all sensed it was already done in heaven, and now the miracle just needed to show up here on earth. And it felt like it would be sooner rather than later.
A month and a half later, after my son’s graduation ceremony and party, we got to drive over to our new home with family and friends, pray over the space, and give God all the glory together.
And Maddie’s worship silenced the voice of the foe and the avenger, drenching the atmosphere with the presence of God—right there in our doorway.
Moment’s before this, our friends and family prayed upstairs, she kept saying, “Yes! Yes!” And then she led us into worship, singing… “Holy! Holy!”
Sometimes, we need to take the lead from our little ones—slow down, look up, and give God all the glory.
Psalm 8:2 NIV
“Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.”

Happy Graduation Day Jesse Freedom!
I woke up flooded with emotions. I’m just so proud of you. How hard you’ve worked to get here, but even more so, the young man you are. You’ve let the Lord form you… You continually lay your life down, and you trust Him with all of your heart. You are a young man of strength, honor and integrity and I’m undone as I watch you make choices to build your future with God.
Today we get to prophesy, bless, and anoint you into your next season. We get to celebrate and create moments that will become memories that will last a lifetime. I’m new at this Homeschool thing, but today is a threshold day. A day where we get to mark the end of an era as you step into the next.
So well done son. Heart of my heart. I adore you and am cheering you on always and forever.
Love,
Mom

This was the moment on Easter Sunday when we found out our offer on a house had been accepted.
A sweet and unexpected miracle on Resurrection Sunday.
Little did we know that “The Year of Home” would mean establishing a physical home in Charleston… that we’d get to put roots down deep.
And it is a miracle story.
On April 12th, Parker and Jessi (my brother and sister-in-law) prayed and prophesied over our family during a Salt Church gathering. It was wild on so many levels, but a significant part of it centered around believing for a home. The agreement in the room was palpable.
Six days later, a small window of time opened up for us to purchase a home. We found the house on Good Friday, put in an offer on Holy Saturday, and signed the contract on Easter Sunday.
And today, we closed.
For the first time since 2007, we’re moving into a home that we own.
Our two youngest kids have never lived in a home that belongs to us.
Earlier this year, when I lost a major portion of my income while being obedient to stay and focus on the home front, I sensed we’d still buy a home. I remember asking God, “How?”
And I heard Him whisper:
“Andi, do you want it for your glory… or for Mine?”
So today—and for the rest of our lives—we give Him all the glory.
This home is His.
